I was watching Saturday Night Live the other night (because I wasn't in the mood for comedy) and smugly enjoying the "quirky girls" sketch. If you missed it, the sketch featured Zooey Desannoying poking fun at the "quirky girl lifestyle." It was all fun and games until she said, "now it's time for the part where we knit while listening to Mama Cass sing." It's official: Pinterest has ruined my life.

How, you ask, has Pinterest ruined my life? After all, Pinterest is wonderful. Amazing. Fantabulous. Pinterest is a window to a world of color and light and glitter and all things sparkly. Pinterest is kittens and cotton candy and warm socks that never, ever fall down or get bunchy. How on EARTH could Pinterest ever hurt anyone?

Okay, so I haven't blogged much lately because I've been uber-busy making stupid friendship bracelets and tiny crochet hearts (I did write a post about that today, which is coming soon). Oh, and working. And pretending to take care of my children. So I haven't had much time to blog about any awesome-sauce projects I'm working on because THERE AREN'T ANY. Sad face.
